This is a wonderful film and the lead character is an incredibly wise, Christian boy who loves God and whose faith lets him see past his own physical limitations. An oscar caliber film through and through. Both lead characters are unequalled as they display a great depth of emotion and sincerity that should be the envy of many more experienced actors. “Simon Birch” took me from laughter to tears and made me examine my own faith in the same breath.
